What is a block letter/formal letter?
Formal letter lesson.
What is Block Format?
In block format, everything including your contact information, the date, the employer’s contact information, the body of the letter, and the greeting and closing, is all left-justified. It gives a clean and professional look to your letter.'
In block format, the letter is single spaced with exception of a space between each paragraph (as well as a space above and below the date, and above and below the signature) Formal Letter Drafts:

Door decorating supplies - large pieces of paper available near counselling area - send EA Mrs. Mackenzie for this aspect of things.
Markers and scissors - at the front - please return to library for end of class.
Glue Sticks - please place on my cart sanitized at end of class.
White 8 by 11 paper - to be utilized for snowflake making. At front.
Coloured paper - for making ring garlands - available - library - Mrs. Mackenzie.
Sticky Tack - available on my black cart.
Tape - available on my black cart.
Class - to please - plan and decorate door, make snowflakes for empty bulletin board, coloured paper ring garlands for hanging front white board or wherever it suits.
