2. First half of class with Mr. Rourke. Careers.  Mr. Rourke will come pick students up. 

2nd half 1:55-3:10pm - TTOC (Mr. M) to get Ipad cart prior from library. Obtain IPad codes from Mr. Wilson re: getting in to each IPad - all the same code. 

Students have already viewed the following video - re: Elevator Pitches - reshow them as a reminder of what NOT to do and final bit of the video - finalized good version. 

Student Assignment - they just started on Tuesday Nov 23 2020 - many got close to finishing. 

TASK: Using the 'Book Creator' App - under Digital Storytelling on the IPads. 

Project with 7 Pages.

Elevator Pitch 

Page 1 - Title Page - Elevator Pitch 

Page 2 - Who are you?

Page 3 - Your background -Student RSS/Work Experience thus far.

Page 4 - Context -Where? More about work experience personal context.

Page 5 - Make connection with person you are speaking with. E.g what can you offer them/their organization.

Page 6 - The Ask - what do you want from this person you are speaking to.

Page 7 - The Close - professional close out.

Save to your IPad. Book creator autosaves. Ms. Hathorn will review your projects on Monday and have you airdrop your finalized version on Monday. 

Next up: 

You may partner up for this stage - remember - if working in pairs mask up or maintain min 2 meter (6 foot) distance. If you want to record solo that is ok too. 

Record your draft pitch using the camera/video on the IPad!!! Save to your device. Make note of your device number you save your video to. Ms. Hathorn will review your draft videos have have you re-shoot a finalized re-edited video on Monday.
